Greater integration of Liverpool Road in Southport Businesses

Mr. Durkin a local Resident of Southport who is known for year-round campaigning on a variety of subjects is looking to see better integration of Liverpool Road businesses across Birkdale.

Mr. Durkin said: “Liverpool Road has so many fantastic independently owned businesses. Some of these go unnoticed because of the ever-popular Birkdale Village Area. A short walk south from the village area will lead you to more fantastic businesses weather you want a milk shake from The Milk Room or a pizza from Pizza & Co who have been trading over 24 years there really is an oasis of options that provide quality products and services.”

MR. Durkin added: “I would especially like to interlink the entirety of this brilliant community highway so that more people feel inspired to invest year-round and more importantly spend across many of the shops. I will be in contact with the businesses in due course to see what ideas would work for them. In the meantime, those businesses can contact me with their thoughts on how to strengthen our economic environment in which to thrive in locally.”
