Help Shape the Future of Sefton Streets: Join the Inclusive and Accessible Streets Forum

Sefton Council is inviting people to help create more inclusive streets in Sefton through the Inclusive and Accessible Streets Forum. The forum has been set up to help Sefton Council work together with residents around issues of inclusion and accessibility in the street scene.

Aims of the forum

The forum meets every three months, with the next meeting on Wednesday 28thJanuary, to show and talk about plans and ideas for transport and highway improvements in Sefton. The forum aims to work together to raise awareness of issues that affect those who use the streets, consider if services are working well, and support more people and organisations to understand the needs of people.

Who is involved?

There are currently multiple groups involved in the forum, including SAFE (Southport Access for Everyone), Merseyside Sight Loss Council, People First, Sefton Carers Centre, Sefton CVS, as well as individuals not linked to groups. Sefton Council want more people to be involved in the group.

How to get involved

To get involved, make a request to become a member using the sign-up formon Your Sefton Your Say. Meetings will be held in person, with the option to join via Zoom, if necessary.
