Hereford v Southport Tuesday. Match preview

fix

Our fifth out of what is now six league games in a row away from home sees us make the long trip south to Hereford on Tuesday night.

It will be the first Hereford game under new management as Josh Gowling has departed the club by mutual consent today.

It was a fairly bruising encounter at Chorley on Saturday for The Sandgrounders and Liam will be taking stock of the players knocks before making his selection.

It was a fantastic win on Saturday and everyone got a real lift from it. We rode our luck at times and Tony Mc was outstanding but after a few games when things went against us it was nice to get the points on the board.

With no game on Saturday, there were no rearrangements possible, the lads will have a well earned break before we actually have a game at home in the Liverpool Senior Cup on February 14th against AFC Liverpool.

Hereford have lost the last three games and sit in 15th place in the table. At home they have won 5 drawn 3 and lost 5 scoring 19 times and conceding 15.

This will be, all being well, our final Tuesday midweek away game of the season.
