Todays high tide and warm weather encouraged these two lads to go for a refreshing dip in the sea.People on the Pier and on the sea wall watched in disbelief as the lads rushed into the chilly water.
Having got into the water swimming was difficult as it is only about 2 feet deep even at the end of the Pier. Tides are different times so its best to check before going for a swim.
Tide times vary everyday throughout the year. Please check the tides website before you make your journey especially if you want to see the Antony Gormley statues.
