Home secretary Yvette Cooper along with Southport MP Patrick Hurley and emergency leaders came to Southport today.

They placed flowers close to the scene of yesterday's terrible events surrounded by the world's media.

Scores of floral tributes have been placed on the corner of Tithebarn Road and Hart Street.
