House fire Hereford Road in Southport

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property on Hereford Road in Southport this morning (27th January). When they arrived they found a house well alight. The fire has damaged the upstairs. Several hoses and water jets were used to extinguish the blaze. Fans have been used to blow the smoke away and ventilate the property.

The resident was unharmed in the incident.
