The Royal British Legion Said...

It is with great pleasure that we are now able to announce that HRH The Princess Royal will be making the first formal royal public visit to Southport since 1955.

Our stunning War Memorial, on Lord Street, will be 100 years old this November and Southport's branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding a re-dedication service, attended by HRH The Princess Royal on Friday 29th September.

Our branch exists to serve the Armed Forces Community within the Southport and beyond, but it has always been our goal to support the town and the wider community.

This will be a major event for Southport, every school in the town will play a role in the day and we hope that every business will also benefit from the town's exposure nationally.

We warmly invite you and your family to join us on September 29th for what we hope will be a memorable and historic event.
There are some finer details still to come, so please follow us now for regular updates.
Team RBL Southport.
