Huge emergency response to incident at Birkdale Beach.

The emergency services were called to the Weld Road entrance to Birkdale Beach this morning following reports of a person in distress.

According to a paramedic a person had fallen and injured themselves in the dunes. An ATV was dispatched to recover them.
