Image released after man performs sexual act on himself between Hillside and Birkdale stations

Detectives investigating an incident of a man masturbating on board a train from Hillside to Southport stations have released an image in connection.

At around 12.50pm on yesterday (29 April), a man sat opposite a woman and stared at her while masturbating beneath under his trousers.

He left the train at Birkdale railway station at 12.53pm.

Detectives would like to speak to the man in the image who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
