Improvements at Mere Sands nature reserve near Southport

Please note that throughout this autumn/winter, the paths and hides at Mere Sands Wood are being improved. The Access Mere Sands Wood Project will allow better access for conservation activities and essential maintenance. Though sections of path will temporarily be closed for public safety, much of the nature reserve will remain accessible. Information on the project, path closures and diversions is available in the visitor centre.
