Increased Police Presence in Southport Amid Holiday Season

Officers will be out on foot patrol and in vehicles in Southport town centre again today. The mobile Police Station will be out and about across the town too. So please come and speak with us when you see us out and about.

It should be the busiest shopping day of the year, but the bad weather may stop some people from venturing out. Make sure you keep valuable such as bags, purses, mobile phones close to your body. Thieves love crowds. Be vigilant and if you see anything you think is not right, flag down an officer or call us on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
