Injury Clouds Over Southport And Marine Ahead of Vital Boxing Day Encounter

Southport's next match is away at Marine on Boxing Day with a 3pm Kick Off.

The game is all ticket and has sold out, no tickets will be available on the day.

Both sides appear to be suffering with injuries meaning both managers will be delaying selections until the last possible minute.

Marine have been on a great run which saw them rise up to 5th in the table before a home defeat to Spennymoor and an away draw at Bedford on Saturday saw a slip to 10th in a very congested league table.

Before last season you had to go back to the 2003-04 season for the previous league meeting between the sides. It was Boxing Day 1990 the last time we tasted victory at College Road in a league game.

It is the 67th meeting between the sides in all competitions.
