Is this closed Chinese Takeaway the most disgusting building in Southport?
The former Chinese takeaway the Pearl Garden on Eastbank Street in Southport is becoming a health hazard as it is infested with pigeons.
Since closing down the upstairs windows have been left open allowing dozens of pigeons to fly in.
An image from Google street view taken in September 2014 shows the windows in the same position as they are now.
This means the windows have been open at least 8 years or more.
An image taken today shows the windows now covered in layers of pigeon droppings.
The inside of the building must be covered in dead pigeons and droppings inches thick.
Sefton Council have been informed.
