Kidderminster v Southport Preview
Southport take to the road on Saturday with a trip to 4th placed Kidderminster Harriers. Kick Off 3pm.
There are still a few places on the coach.
It is a battle of two sides in the play off zone but also two sides out of form. Southport with just the one league win in ten(1-0 at Hereford) against Kidderminster with one win in 9 (a 5-0 home win against Curzon) after both sides had been on fantastic unbeaten runs.
Considering the poor run of form Southport have hung on in the Play Off zone and the final destiny remains in our own hands.
The pack are closing in with Kettering and Darlington on a good run, Kettering picked up a fine 2-0 win against York on Tuesday.
Kidderminster went down to a surprise 1-0 home defeat to Alfreton. The latest in a series of unpredictable results in the Vanarama National League North this season.
Kidderminster hit the headlines earlier this season for a tremendous FA Cup run which saw them go out against West Ham United in cruel circumstances and saw the crowds flocking back to Aggborough.
Manager Liam Watson will hope to have more players to choose from this Saturday and will be casting an eye over the bumps and bruises at training on Thursday as the ‘Port enter the final eight games of an unpredictable and fascinating season.
Ticket News
Like ourselves Kidderminster strongly recommend advance purchase of tickets from harriers.co.uk/tickets. While it is possible to buy in person at the stadium on the day, this can only be done at the Ticket Office which can result in queues and a mixing of supporters – it’s also £2 more expensive to buy this way. Fans can purchase an e-ticket online up to 15 minutes after kick-off.
Those not able to access the internet or who prefer not to, can still by in advance by calling our office on 01562 823 931.
