Large group of Travellers take over Sefton Council owned Tulketh St car park in Southport

A large group of Travellers have taken over Tulketh Street car park in Southport.The car park is owned by Sefton Council.

None of the vehicles have been issued with parking fines even though they a contravening the regulations.

Rubbish has already been dumped meaning the Council will face the cost of cleaning up when the Travellers leave.

The Council is also missing out on the Pay and Display revenue as people will not park there for fear of being robbed.
