Late Goal Saves Southport from Defeat in Thrilling 2-2 Draw
The points are shared at Haig Avenue after an entertaining 2-2 draw with Southport grabbing the point with a goal in added time.

Neither side could have any complaints about the final score in an evely contested encounter.
Darlington took the in bizarre fashion when Chris Renshaw was clearly fouled from a corner but nothing was given and Darlington captain Tom Platt stabbed the ball home.
Southport were awarded a penalty in the 15th minute when Chris Sze appeared to have been tripped by the ‘keeper and he confidentlly slotted the ball home from the spot.
Chances came and went for both sides the best for Southport fell to Jordan Slew who should have scored but delayed his shot too long.
The second half was much the same but it was Darlington who took the lead in the 63rd minute with a fine finsih from Cedric Main who does like a goal against Southport.
Just when it looked like the visitors were going to record their first win at Southport since 1970 up stepped Slew in the 91st minute to rifle home from close range after a corner wasn’t cleared.
