Liverpool Man Charged with Multiple Crimes in Southport, Merseyside and Cheshire

Detectives have charged a Liverpool man with multiple crimes against businesses in Merseyside and Cheshire.

As part of an ongoing investigation, Darragh Dunne, 35 of Lancaster Street, Walton has been charged with the following offences:

• Burglary other than dwelling at Occulo Lounge, Lord Street, Southport on Saturday, 31 August in which cash was stolen

• Burglary other than dwelling at Bonobo Bar and Canteen, St John Street, Chester on Sunday, 24 August in which electrical equipment was stolen

• Burglary other than dwelling at The Beer Place, Foregate Street, Chester on Wednesday, 13 August in which electrical equipment was stolen

• Burglary other than dwelling at Red Door, St John Street, Chester on Sunday 24 August in which cash was stolen.

• Theft from shop at Cafe Nero, Chapel Street, Southport on Saturday 31 August in which food was stolen

• Burglary dwelling at a home on Eastbank Street on Saturday 31 August in which electrical equipment was stolen

• Burglary other than dwelling at Maloney's Bar on Lord Street, Southport on Sunday 17 August in which electrical equipment was stolen

Dunne will appear at Sefton Adult Remand Court, Derby Square, Liverpool today, Thursday 18 September.

Detective Inspector Ted Barr said: “This is an ongoing investigation but anyone with information on the incidents mentioned above or other business crime should come forward with what they know, and we will do the rest.”
