Living Well Bus in Southport today offering MMR measles vaccinations

The Living Well Bus is in Southport today offering MMR (Measles Mumps, Rubella) and other vaccinations.

MMR vaccinations are available to anyone aged over 12 months.

You can find the Living Well Bus at 26-28 Chapel Street, Southport from 10.30am to 4pm. No appointments are needed.

Sefton’s Immunisation Team are holding clinics over the summer holidays starting from tomorrow. These are for any primary and secondary school children who have missed an MMR (or any other vaccination for secondary school children only).

Cases on the rise

Cases of measles are on the rise in Merseyside. Measles is highly infectious disease that makes most people who catch it very unwell. The MMR vaccination provides the long lasting protection from measles for children and adults.

Children and adults of any age can contact their GP to have a free MMR vaccination.
