Local authors Jen Palfrey and Nichola Caunce officially opened the new Jigsaw Nursery and Kids Party Room at Hesketh Bank Community Centre on Saturday 3rd December.

Jen read from their book, Colin and Lola's Christmas Eve Adventure, then visitors joined in a teddy bears picnic, Diddi Dancing and My First Musical Steps - all with a Christmas theme.

Jen said, "Thanks so much for asking us to open this brand new facility.  We are so lucky that Hesketh Bank Community Centre and Jigsaw Nursery are working for the young people of our village".
