Local derby as Southport take on AFC Fylde this Saturday

fyl

Southport return to home action on Saturday with a visit from high flying AFC Fylde.

After a setback last Saturday with a first defeat in 9 games, The Sandgrounders will be looking to bounce back but face a stiff test against an in form AFC Fylde side.

Southport are yet to beat The Coasters in four attempts. It was an ill tempered affair the last time the sides met at Haig Avenue with manager James Rowe seeing red and sent to the stands. He is no longer in the AFC Fylde hot seat with Adam Murray now in charge.

Manager Liam Watson will be without Keenan Quansah who picked up a red card at Peterborough Sports last Saturday and will serve the first of a two match ban but is hopeful of having Tyler Walton back after a bad illness that has sidelined him since before Christmas.

The game kicks off at 3pm and tickets are available HERE

It promises to be a good game with a good atmosphere and you will be able to watch the Manchester Derby which kicks off at 12.30 ahead of the game in The 1881 Bar.
