Local Woodlands Animal Sanctuary Cats Await their Forever Homes

Woodlands – Are you who one of these cats is waiting for?

Old, young, black, white, outgoing, quiet, pairs and singles, all the cats at Woodlands Animal Sanctuary have a story to tell, some will pull at your heart strings more than others, but they are all true & lived and now they are waiting to start their next chapter.

If you have space in your heart and your home, contact Alex at Woodlands and see who you could make a difference for.  Just as every home is unique, so is every cat and Alex will help you decide who is most suited to your life and home.

Some have been with the animal rescue for months as they have slightly more complex needs – but don’t we all to some extent?  Whether like Wilma and Freddi, you arrived scared and stressed, or overwhelmed and flea ridden like Scott and Charlene, or even had the most anguish still to come, like Margo, they are all making steps towards their happy ever after.  All they need now is you!

To find out their stories and more, visit Woodlands’ website: https://www.woodlandsanimalsanctuary.org.uk/rehoming/cats/

All cats and kittens rehomed from Woodlands will have 4 weeks free insurance with Petplan, will be microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments.  If they are old enough, they will have been neutered, and if not, you will receive a voucher for money off the procedure when they are old enough.

The donation required to secure a cat from Woodlands, helps to cover the cost of their care whilst they have been with them.  In the majority of cases, it is only a contribution, but without it, the self-funded charity would struggle even more to cover the necessary costs to provide the care needed for the animals who find their way to them.

The charity does appreciate that taking on the responsibility of a pet, has time, energy and financial implications and Alex will be more than happy to talk through with you, the types of expenses & challenges you may encounter when welcoming a cat into your home.  Give her a call on 01704 823293 or fill in the application form on the website.

If you would like to support Woodlands and the work they do, but without giving a cat a home, you have until this Thursday 21st, to get your quiz tickets.  At 7pm, at Tarleton Bowling Club, on Saturday 23rd, tickets are £12 and include supper.  There is a bar at the venue too, in case you think better with a drink in your hand!  Tickets available from their website:  https://www.tickettailor.com/events/woodlandsanimalsanctuary/963919
