Lord Street in Southport still closed after robbery at Rebeccas Jewellers

Lord Street in Southport remains closed this morning after a robbery at Rebeccas Jewellers last night.

Raiders have cut away part of the shutters which can be seen on the pavement.

On their Facebook page Rebeccas said...

We are saddened to share that yesterday evening (21/03/22) we were targeted by thieves. As of yet we do not know the full extent of the damage they have caused, the police are currently carrying out their investigations.

During this time there will be a disturbance to our usual opening hours, however we are still contactable for anything urgent.

Thank you for all of the kind messages of support they are very much appreciated.

Merseyside Police have yet to release a statement
