‘Love You’: The Last Words of a Southport Man Before Being Led to Prison Cells
Derek Drummond of Pool Street in Southport was charged with violent disorder and assault of an emergency worker by punching a police officer in the face. Drummond pleaded guilty to the charges. He was remanded in Custody.
The case has been referred to the crown court to be sentenced on August 29th. Any plea to be provided by August 15th.
Drummond turned to his supporters in the public gallery and says “love you” as he was led down to the cells.
