Major disruption For Southport commuters wishing to travel on the Merseyrail Wirral Line

Cancellations to services from West Kirby Due to failure of the electricity supply between Hamilton Square and James Street the Wirral line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until 12.

Train services from West Kirby will be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Birkenhead North.Additional Information:Rail Replacement buses are being requested but are not yet in operation. Train services on the Chester and Ellesmere Port Line will start and terminate at Birkenhead Central and New Brighton and West Kirby Line services will start and terminate at Birkenhead North.
