Major disruption on Merseyrail Southport line

Alterations to services at Hunts Cross Due to a broken down train at Hunts Cross the Southport and Hunts Cross line is disrupted.

Impact:Train services running through this station will be terminated at and started back from Liverpool Cntrl Northern.

Disruption is expected until 11:15 18/01.Customer Advice:Rail Replacement buses are currently unable to be obtained and passengers are advised to make alternative arrangements where possible.

Alterations to services from Hunts Cross Due to ice preventing this train getting electricity from the third rail all lines are disrupted. Disruption is expected until 11:00 18/01.
