Man arrested for multiple shop thefts in Southport

David Bigley (43) of Hundred End Lane, Hesketh Bank was arrested by Southport Local Policing Team officers on the morning of Tuesday 20th December.

He has since been charged with two counts of burglary and one count of fraud by false representation. These charges follow three previous charges for shop theft, for which, Bigley failed to appear at court.

Bigley was remanded in custody until 29th December for another court appearance.
