Man arrested in Southport after stolen car recovered

Christmas Eve's afternoon shift began with CCTV enquiries into a car stolen in Southport last night and continued with that thing we "never do" (but actually do every day), foot patrol.

Officer photographed in Churchtown and included visits to local shops we visit regularly, some of which have been victims of a man arrested earlier this week.

The shift ended with the stolen car found and a man arrested on suspicion of involvement in the theft.
