Man charged in connection with Southport disorder

Police have charged another man following the violent disorder in Southport on Tuesday 30 July.

It brings the total number of people charged in connection with recent disorder in Southport and Liverpool to 26.

Oliver Maddocks, 21 years, from St Luke's Road, Southport has been charged with violent disorder and burglary.

He has been remanded to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court at 9.45am on Monday 12 August.
