Man exposes himself in front of a family at Formby Beauty spot near Southport

Several reports of a man exposing himself in Formby close to St Lukes Church.

Careful if u go to Formby pinewoods. Me and my 4 walked in and a man was sat on bench , he started talking to them as I was picking up my dogs poo.

I walked infront and walked away, 20 mins later a woman come out the woods (we were in the sand holes) crying her eyes out with two kids and another man who found her who walked with her after she told him the man we had just seen started touching himself infront of her and her kids !!!! Man was about 50/60 wearing a red coat and hat. Be careful so glad he didn’t do anything infront of mine !!! The police have been called and are in the woods now looking for him.

There was a man yesterday on the train doing the same thing to my friend and her friends , hope the lady and her kids are okay.

Thanks to the lady who warned my daughter and her friend (both on ponies) about the man. They went a different way to the beach and didn’t see him. On the way back someone else told them he had been caught by the police.
