Man from Formby escapes jail after assaulting two police officers

North Sefton Community Team welcome the sentencing of Scott HIGNETT, 37, of Chindit Close, Formby after an incident in Formby in September 2022 whereby he assaulted two of our Officers.

HIGNETT was found guilty of Assaulting an Emergency Worker x2 and Motoring Offences.

HIGNETT was sentenced at Liverpool Magistrates Court to 18 months community order, 10 rehab days, 80 hours unpaid work, £50 to each Officer and £714 fine from the court.
