Man killed after crashing into a bus stop in Burscough

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashboard mounted camera footage after a man died in a road traffic collision in Burscough.

The incident happened on Liverpool Road South at 9.35pm yesterday (January 2).

A Vauxhall Astra car was in collision with a bus stop and very sadly the driver, a 60-year-old man, later died in hospital.
