Manchester, Broughton, and Homeless Residents Charged After Southport Disorder

 Police have charged three more people following violent disorder in Southport and Liverpool.

Sean Beech, 55, of Len Cox Walk, Manchester, was charged with violent disorder, attempted s18 assault and s39 assault.

He was remanded into custody to appear in court today, Monday 2 September.

Connah Piggott, 25, of Landsdown Road, Broughton, was charged with violent disorder and was remanded to appear in court on Thursday 5 September.

Anthony Buck, 52, of no fixed abode, was charged with violent disorder and remanded into custody to appear in court on Wednesday 4 September.

That brings the total number of people charged to 56.
