Marine Drive in Southport now closed for 6 days for the Air Show

The Marine Drive in Southport is now closed for 6 days to allow for Air Show preparations and the show itself. Access to the Ocean Plaza is from the Marine Way bridge. There is no exit from the Ocean Plaza onto the Marine Drive. Closure is from The Pier to the Beach entrance and vice versa.

Diversions are along the Promenade and Fairways or over the Marine Way Bridge but there will be queues of traffic if coming from the Guelder Rose side.

Restrictions are due to end on Monday at 22.59.
