Market Street Southport this afternoon...not a person in sight

This is Market Street in Southport this afternoon. Not a single person in sight. All car parking spaces removed. So, there's no chance of popping into a local business. Ok the weather was a bit wet but before the "Les Transformations de Southport" it was always busy with people parking and going into the various shops etc.

What a waste of money, and with winter on the horizon its going to be a tough time for the local shop owners who are dependant on passing trade.
