Mere Sands Wood near Southport re-opening announcement:

The car park will re-open on Saturday 5th of February and will then remain accessible 24 hours a day, the visitor centre, cafe and toilets will be open as normal (10am - 4pm, seven days a week).  

Improvement works on the new entrance bridge and ponds are still ongoing, therefore we ask that visitors pay attention to signs indicating paths or areas that remain closed for now
