Merseyside Fire Service called to United Carpets on Hart Street / Norwood Road Southport

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to United Carpets and Beds on the corner of Hart Street and Norwood Road at approximately 1.15 this afternoon (31 October).

There was a fire at the rear of the property on the Norwood Road side. One hose was used to extinguish the blaze. Nobody is thought to have been injured in the incident. The fire service left after 15 minutes.
