Merseyside Police Extends Hanukkah Greetings to Jewish Community

We’d like to extend our warm wishes to our Jewish communities here in Merseyside this Hanukkah.
Hanukkah is an eight day festival celebrated by the lighting of an eight-branch candle, families getting together and gifts being exchanged.

We’re proud of the diversity here in Merseyside and the warm and tolerant reputation Merseysiders and adopted Merseysiders of every faith are known for.

As the police we’re here to keep everyone safe and protected from crime and we will be maintaining a highly-visible presence in all of our communities.
