Merseyside Police incident London Street in Southport

Officers from Merseyside Police were called to a property in London Street ,Southport at approximately 10.30 today (28th June). The officers gained entry to an upstairs flat.

A woman was eventually removed from the scene and taken away in a Police van.

She was not handcuffed and was cooperative with the Police.

No information has been released as to the nature of the incident.
