Merseyside Police Reassure Public Following Unexplained Death in Meols Cop Road

We’re still investigating the unexplained death of a woman aged in her 50s in Meols Cop Road, Southport last night.

We appreciate that the presence of police and paramedics at the block of flats caused some people to be worried about what had happened, and others to speculate online.

Local officers are in the area today to provide a reassuring presence and to speak to anyone with worries or concerns.
