Missing 78 year old man from Crosby could be in Southport-Now found

Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find missing Robert Skelton from Crosby. He has now safely returned home. Sharing our appeals really does make a difference.

Police are appealing for help in finding a 78-year-old man who is missing in Crosby

Robert Skelton was last seen on Sunday 5 June around 11:55 am getting on the 53 bus in Crosby village.

He is white, 5ft 4inch of slim build with thinning grey short hair.

Robert was last seen wearing a hooded dark navy coat with a navy blue flat cap, dark coloured jogging bottoms, a turquoise jumper zipped up to the neck and black velcro strapped shoes.

Robert is known to visit areas in Southport and Liverpool.

Police officers are making extensive efforts to find Robert and return him home safely and would urge Robert, anyone who knows his whereabouts, or who has seen a man resembling him, to call police on the 101 number.
