Missing person found in the sea after 6hr search by Southport Lifeboat and other emergency services

Southport Quads paged by Holyhead Coastguard to assist the police search for a missing person between Birkdale and Ainsdale.

Our Quads and UAS team searched alongside the Police, RNLI Lifeguards and Southport and Crosby Coastguard Rescue Teams.

At 17:00 our Quads spotted a person in the water and our ILB was launched to assist the other assets bring the person safely to shore.
