Motorist arrested after car smashes into Ambulance early this morning.

Merseyside Police have released an image on Twitter this morning after a car smashed into an ambulance on Merseyside taking a patient to hospital.

The driver of the car was arrested after failing a breath test.

Thankfully nobody was injured in the accident at 02.45.

The Police did not give details as to the location of the accident.

Drink driver has collided with an ambulance, which is now off the road for repair and was carrying a patient at the time. Driver has been arrested. I’m sure you all share our frustration with this one.

Our drink driver has blown 54 in custody. Legal limit is 35. They will be charged in the morning and given a court date and inevitable driving ban.
