MP celebrates the opening of the new Southport Veterans Hub on Wesley Street.

 Damien commented...Last Saturday, I was delighted to celebrate the opening of the new Southport Veterans Hub on Wesley Street.

Veterans are at the heart of our community, and our town has a proud history of support for our armed forces. The new Hub is operated by the Southport branch of the Royal British Legion, and will provide a welcoming space for armed forces personnel, veterans, and their families to meet for coffee, or seek advice and support.

The building looks fantastic, and I would encourage all those with a connection to the forces to stop by and see it for themselves. 

A huge congratulations to Royal British Legion Southport Branch Chairman Major Nick McEntee, Branch Secretary Sarah McEntee, and the whole team for pulling off this project and bringing this vital local asset to our community.
