Non-suspicious Death Announced after Southport Train-Line Incident

British Transport Police have confirmed a person was hit by a train on the Southport line just before 7pm on Monday, November 4th, The person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not considered suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
