North West Air Ambulance lands on Portland Street field in Southport - Video

The North West Air Ambulance landed on the playing field at Portland Street in Southport this afternoon. A doctor on board was taken to a local emergency in Sefton Street. The doctor and the patient were then taken by road to Aintree Hospital.

The pilot of the helicopter then took off to go and pick up the doctor from Aintree Hospital before flying back to their base in Manchester.
