Officers from Merseyside Police raid Nile Hotel in King St Southport

Officers from Merseyside Police raided the Nile Hotel on King Street in Southport at approximately 10.45 this morning.

At least 6 officers entered the Hotel with more waiting outside. The officers spent at least 20 minutes inside the building before leaving with no arrests made. It is not known what or who the officers were searching for.

The police have yet to comment,
