Oliva murder.Police release video of man they would like to talk too

As we relentlessly pursue the gunman who shot and killed little Olivia Pratt-Korbel, we are still trying to trace everyone who was in that area of Dovecot at the time.

We particularly want to identify the man in this CCTV footage. He was stood on Finch Lane near to the junction with Kingsheath Avenue at around the time Olivia and her mum were shot in their home.

The detective leading our investigation teams into Olivia's murder and those of Ashley Dale in Old Swan and Sam Rimmer in Dingle is urging the man in the footage, or anyone who knows him, to come forward.

Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen, said: "The enquiry team are attempting to trace everyone in the area at the time of Olivia’s murder.

"I therefore want to trace this man who was in the area at the time. I am interested in speaking to him as he may have information that is important to the enquiry. 

"I therefore appeal for this man to come forward and make himself known to the investigation team. If anyone knows who this man is, please tell us.

"I would like to thank the local community and members of the public who have come forward with a huge amount of information. The response that we have had and the lines of enquiry that your information has generated cannot be underestimated. Thank you."
