Operation Shepherd: Police Hand Out Crime Prevention Crackers in Southport

Operation Shepherd is our annual campaign to reduce crime and keep our communities safe during the festive season. Officers will be patrolling shopping centres, Christmas markets, and other popular festive locations to help keep the public safe.

On Wednesday the 'ad van' made it's first visit to Southport for this Christmas period and our officers handed out some special Merseyside Police crackers to passing members of the public. Inside our Merseyside Police crackers, you’ll find a UV security marker pen to mark your valuables, as well as some ‘cracking’ crime prevention advice on keeping yourself and your property safe.
