Ormskirk Police Bust Two Drink Drivers and Drug Possession Suspect

Team 2 response have been busy this evening with 2 arrested for drink driving (one driver further arrested for possession of a Class A drug). The first driver was spotted by PC 620 Gallagher driving at speed through Burscough. The male blew 44 at the roadside and then 41 in custody. Date in court already booked.

The second driver pulled out in front of a fully marked police carrier full of Team 2 cops. The car had no lights on and then drove through a red light. PC 1506 Bush requested the driver to stop. 

Driver blew 50 at the road side and was then found to be in possession of a Class A drug so was arrested for drink driving and possession of a controlled drug - male currently on route to custody! His two passengers and vehicle were then searched under S.23 Misue of Drugs Act.
