Part of Southport Town Centre cordoned off due to unsafe verandah

The footpath that runs along Market Street and King Street is cordoned off as the verandah above it has become unsafe with part of it collapsing into King Street.

A disused phone box in King Street has had the roof ripped off in the high winds caused by Storm Arwen.

Just around the corner in Talbot Street a chimney has crashed through a roof.
